Max couldn’t believe that he’s got another default notice.
Well, saying couldn’t believe is a bit untrue as he knew that he didn’t action on it at the first place. ‘Due date is at the end of this month. I’ve still got time.’
Then the internal dialog turned to,
‘Gee! I thought that I just paid and now here it comes again.
Banks really want to suck us dry, don’t they?’
So Max decided to do nothing when the last notice show up, till now he is panic, frustrated and angry with the situation.
Debt can cause a lot of damage, and not just to your credit score. It can literally drive you crazy.
The internal emotions of denial, stress, fear and pain, and anger are just riding the roller coaster.
And other effects are low self-esteem and impaired cognitive functioning which means you can’t learn, remember, be attentive or solve problems when you’re freaking out over bills.
